Faith, Hope, Love The Light, The Cross
Over four decades ago, the members of our present parish built St. John Armenian Church. This very special gift to the greater Detroit Armenian community resulted in a facility that continues to serve as our spiritual and cultural home today. Just as our parents and grandparents understood this calling, we must do the same. Our Church is a treasure, and it is our duty to ensure that it thrives and continues to meet the needs of many generations to come. Maintaining current Church operation and ministry is our most important mission. We are ever grateful to our faithful who unceasingly give their time, talent, and treasure to our Church. We look forward to new programs such as the Lyceum that has been implemented to serve the parish and fulfill the various needs of our members.
If you have ever given a moment of your time, a measure of your talent, or a gift to our Church you are already a Steward. You recognize that this is a continual responsibility that does not stop when the annual calendar ends. In fact over 150 families who are Stewards of our Church continue support this perpetual mission.
Our parishioners already do so much for our Church, but we invite you to do even more. There are many recognition levels available in the Stewardship program. If you are already a member, we sincerely thank you and we ask that you maintain your annual pledge. As a member if you experience a gap year, we ask that you resume and continue giving annually, without past obligation, as soon as you are able. As a person who already gives their time, talent and treasurer to our Church if you wish to become a member for the first time consider becoming a Steward of Faith, ($100.00 annually). We understand that our parish consists of people like you who care about the vitality of the Church. Your annual commitment of spiritual and financial support is a gift for the perpetuation of our faith and Armenian Identify. Today let us light the pathway for tomorrow.
